About the Artwork
Artist statement
“Feelings and emotions are reflections of the soul. Think of my artwork as mirrors, reflecting fragments of your soul.
Each piece I create is inspired by personal emotions or experiences which are interpreted differently by each viewer depending on their own perspective and emotbackground.”
Work statement
-The form of the characters in my artwork was initially inspired by both a personal and a cultural reference-Ancient Egypt-.
-I use the body postures, facial expressions and color schemes as elements to embody the emotion that was the inspiration for the artwork.
